Prepare to Host an In-Person Meeting

If you are hosting an in-person meeting, be sure to check out these lists.

Have a storage box ready with your Gotta Have It things (items you’ve just gotta have for a meeting!) .

NOTE: Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see an optional folder and contents you may wish to carry along (or have those documents on your computer for reference).

Optional Folder for Gotta Have It!

You may find it very helpful to have the pages shown below in a folder to carry with your Gotta Have It items. Having your choice of brochures, research reports, testimonials, etc., may be used to back up statements about NeoLife’s quality, the need for supplementation, and more. If you are more comfortable with your tablet or laptop, these documents are always here online where you can access them if you have Internet at a meeting.

Meeting Handouts

NEW 2-sided single page meeting handout as of 6/2023! When you open document, check to be sure the file name is “2023 2-page handout-blanks ” to know you have the most current version.

NOTE: This is best printed in color, but black&white will work if that’s what you have.

Older Handouts

Should you want them, older, longer handouts are in the Business Archives section. Also there you can find the 6/1/2019 Handouts that align with the 3/19 booklets still being widely used, as well as the UK’s 6/19 edition.

However, if Louis Smith is your speaker, he uses the 2-page 2022 set above.

Here are some forms you MAY wish to use at meetings you host… or to connect with contacts you meet at a booth.

You are absolutely encouraged to create your own invitation! But IF you do not have your own flyer to use for inviting friends, here are flyers with blanks to be filled in with your information.

Meeting Invitation Flyer:
Word Format

This first one is in Word docx format. Edit the date, time, Host name, location and phone number. Revise in any way you wish to make it your own!
[Note: Formatting does NOT line up when opened in GoogleDocs, so MUST be downloaded & opened in Word.]

The next one is a pdf and may be revised within a pdf reader program that has a “sign” or “type” option. Follow directions below links.

OR, you can print it out, then add the appropriate information (described below) in the blank areas, then have that printed.

If revising with a pdf reader, fill in your information using a Type option in your pdf reader program.

What to fill in and where? You’ll see 2 VERY small, VERY light dots just below the W in Workshop. That’s where you can enter the day & date (example: Monday, October 14, 20xx) and then on the next line put the time of the meeting.

Way at the bottom on the left side under the photo of veggies, again there are two very faint dots. That’s where you can put the name of the person hosting (i.e., At the home of …), then on following lines put the street address, city, and RSVP with phone number.

Meeting Invitation Flyer:
What to Include

Information to be included on an invitation (whether you are hosting Louis or another leader as the speaker) would commonly be Day, Date, Time on top line; Hosted by (and name) on next line; Address of meeting place on third line; RSVP name/phone number on last line. Here’s an example:

Hosted by Jim & Jane Smith

RSVP Jane, 987-654-3210

Open Your Meeting to Others

If you are the presenter at a meeting and you wish to invite other Members/Promoters to include their guests at your meeting, give all pertinent information (including name of speaker) in email to [email protected]. Your event will be added to the team calendar.

Introduce Your Speaker

Unless you are both host and speaker, you will want to properly introduce the person doing your presentation. Here are guidelines for a good introduction. Also included are “facts & figures” for introducing Louis Smith, should you need them! A sample intro for Louis is also posted, but be sure to revise to make it your own!

Presentation Booklets – Coffee Shop Chats

Whether you are doing a presentation on nutrition, business, skin care or home care, a presentation booklet is available for purchase. You can use any of these booklets for one-on-one presentations or for group events. You may even want to do the presentation and leave a booklet with your new member to use for his/her own sharing with their friends!

We are now also offering you a digital version of each booklet that you may use online. These are NOT for you to print, as we have high quality booklets already available and the digitals are not print quality. Please feel free to use them on your tablet or computer, or create your own PowerPoint presentation with them!
